I would say we could do it in segments and stay in hotels but being New Hampshire I think accommodations are few and far between. REI does a guided tour where we stay in dormitory style huts

Let’s keep July 18th as scheduled, I’ll look at something other than the “Lemon Squeezer” which I feel should be a full Blazes hike.

Keep August as scheduled for 8/15, I need to discuss scheduling with Amy who is getting back from RI tonight. I think she messed up some dates in the calendar for our SC trip and I’m unsure as to next month’s availability.

Forest, we may be joining you at the balloon festival. It depends if Amy and the girls want to spend the night in a hotel as we will be down in that area the prior evening<

I cannot commit to either change but will join either or both if I’m in town. At the moment I’m about 50/50 for both changes.

I would like to submit the Lemon Squeezer/Island Pond Loop for our July 18th hike: https://www.nynjtc.org/hike/print/229.

Additionally, I will be in Myrtle beach for the August hike and as such will not be able to make it 08/15. On a similar topic, does anyone have any recommendations of things to do in Myrtle Beach?

I cannot tell what the parking situation is but how does everyone feel about a low-impact leisurely hike at the Eugene and Agnes Meyers Nature Preserve? We can break for a light-meal, perhaps a quick game of Catan?

I’m building out the photo albums and need some help with whom participates where (the initials in parentheses is how I’m tracking attendance). I was thinking of going back to the Mohonk trip in August. Let me know any other hikes you want included, I.e., the Anthony’s Nose hikes.

    Thanks

I have create a new page of photo albums and have added download capabilities to them, Forest, let me know if this is what you were looking for.

I have also added a link to the top menu to get to the new photo album page, here is the direct URL: https://www.apexblazes.com/apexblazes/photo-albums/

I will be adding new photo albums during the demo

This is fantastic! Exactly how WordPress is leveraged, you think of a feature and then find a plugin 🙂

This one is a bit quirky and has a MapQuest back-end, I am looking at alternatives that use Google Maps as a back-end since we all use it.

I’m putting together a timeline, let me know what you think. Is it preferable to make it horizontal?

I will make photo albums for the other hikes, right now I just have the last one up. I think we already have most pics shared via Google

Just a head’s up that I am not getting MMS (group texts) messages for some reason and have no idea what this morning’s texts were about.

Jordan, do you think 7:30 would be early enough for you to meet and do the Diamond trail? I think this looks like a good alternative to Elk-Pen.

That’s pretty cool. Why is he inconsistent with the metric and US measurements?

Interesting although I’m not sure how using Gaia over AT ends up lessening any environmental impacts.

Half of the first point does not apply to Tommy or I, we both have the premium version which comes with an SOS mode that alerts emergency services if we get lost or hurt. I believe this goes over the GPS network so cell signal isn’t a concern.

Regardless, people should always be mindful of, and have as little impact as possible on, the ecosystems they travel. #bushwhack#feminism

So the “final” logo I submitted doesn’t have the outer circle, any thoughts? I think I like this best, perhaps it’s because I’m only looking at one logo on the page.
