I cannot tell what the parking situation is but how does everyone feel about a low-impact leisurely hike at the Eugene and Agnes Meyers Nature Preserve? We can break for a light-meal, perhaps a quick game of Catan?

I would like to submit the Lemon Squeezer/Island Pond Loop for our July 18th hike: https://www.nynjtc.org/hike/print/229.

Additionally, I will be in Myrtle beach for the August hike and as such will not be able to make it 08/15. On a similar topic, does anyone have any recommendations of things to do in Myrtle Beach?

So it turns out we MIGHT be going to Philadelphia on Saturday the 17th and staying the night. The Marlins are playing the Phillies. We are totally up in the air if we are going, we might not know until the last possible moment, but I would count me out on that date.

If anyone wants to hike on the 25th I can do that day.

Also for August I am good switching to an alternate date if people would like.

Let’s put this all together.

First question: Are we moving the July 18th hike date? I’m good the 18th of July or the 25th of July. I may be able to do both.

Second question, which is really a statement since Dave will be out of town: The August 15th hike being pushed back to August 22nd. I’m cool with this change.

No suggestions for things to do in Myrtle Beach Dave, sorry.

The original hike date was Sunday the 18th.
I can’t make the 17th nor the 18th.
I can do Sunday the 25th.

We are going to a Hot Air Baloon Festival on Saturday the 24th about an hour from my place further into NJ if anyone wants to join.

My August is free as of now so if we want to change let’s make a decision on that too.

I cannot commit to either change but will join either or both if I’m in town. At the moment I’m about 50/50 for both changes.

Why don’t you guys just keep the dates you currently have since we are supposed to be the 3rd Sunday and David can go to those.

Let’s keep July 18th as scheduled, I’ll look at something other than the “Lemon Squeezer” which I feel should be a full Blazes hike.

Keep August as scheduled for 8/15, I need to discuss scheduling with Amy who is getting back from RI tonight. I think she messed up some dates in the calendar for our SC trip and I’m unsure as to next month’s availability.

Forest, we may be joining you at the balloon festival. It depends if Amy and the girls want to spend the night in a hotel as we will be down in that area the prior evening<

Cool on all fronts. If someone wants to also hike on the 25th let me know. I have to get out there at least one day this month.

Also, we need to schedule a morning or afternoon or evening of just playing Catan and hanging out. Some of us can drink, others can do other things.
