I would like to propose we do this on a weekend once Forest is able to travel once again for frivolous expeditions.

That looks like a fun trip.

It looks like they recommend 4 days. I could cut the miles traversed and do a 2 or 3 day trip.

Count me in, once we can all get some time.

So where do you sleep if this is more than 1 day? Can you get on and off the trail at certain parts? I love hiking but I’m not into the hiking and camping aspect if we have to sleep on the trail.

Also, 4 days is an impossibility for me. I would be able to do a 1 night over night thing.

I would say we could do it in segments and stay in hotels but being New Hampshire I think accommodations are few and far between. REI does a guided tour where we stay in dormitory style huts

It looks like there is an organization that has a couple of accommodations along the trail.

Here is one of the lodges:

    Highland Center

List of lodges in MA & NH:

    Massachusetts / New Hampshire

To Forest’s point, we would need a couple of days to really have an enjoyable experience.
